International Students — Important Notice

Urgent English Institute is actively working toward SEVP certification to issue Forms I-20 for F-1 student visas. Per U.S. Department of Homeland Security policy, we cannot issue I-20s while certification is pending. If you are an international student interested in studying with us on an F-1 visa, please visit our International Students page or email contact@urgentenglishinstitute.com with your information and we will notify you when I-20s become available.

* One-time enrollment fee of $150 applies to all new students. Materials fee covers textbooks and digital resources for one academic year.

Payment Schedule

Monthly — Due on the 1st of each month
Quarterly — 5% discount
Annual — 10% discount

Late Fee Policy

A $25 late fee is applied to any payment not received within 5 days of the due date. Continued non-payment may result in suspension from classes.

Refund Policy

Before first day: Full refund minus $150 enrollment fee.
Within first 4 weeks: Pro-rated refund based on remaining weeks. After 4 weeks: No refunds.

When can I start?

We offer year-round enrollment with flexible start dates. New student intakes typically begin at the start of each month, but we accommodate mid-month starts whenever possible. Contact our admissions team to find the next available start date for your program.

What level will I be placed at?

Your level is determined by our comprehensive placement test, which assesses reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We use the CEFR framework and place students from A1 (Beginner) through C2 (Proficient). The test ensures you start at the right level and can progress effectively.

Can I change programs after starting?

Yes, you can change programs with approval from your academic advisor. For example, you may switch from English Immersion to Intensive English. Changes are evaluated based on your current level, attendance record, and program availability.

Is housing available for students?

We provide housing guidance and resources to help you find comfortable, convenient accommodation. Our team can connect you with apartment complexes near the institute, homestay programs for cultural immersion, and temporary housing options for your arrival.

What happens after I submit my application?

After submitting your application, our admissions team reviews it within 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirming receipt and outlining any missing documents. Once your file is complete, we schedule your placement test and issue the Enrollment Agreement. Upon payment, you attend orientation and begin classes.
