The story behind Urgent English Institute

A Dream Decades in the Making

The concept of opening a school began forming in the mind of founder Mauricio Prado more than 30 years ago. Originally from Brazil, Mauricio holds a Bachelor's in Arts focused on Geography and International Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Leadership. With over twenty years of teaching experience, he has dedicated his career to helping students find their voice in English.

Urgent English officially opened in 2018 in Central Florida, built on the belief that language learning serves as a bridge between cultures and a doorway to new opportunities. His studies in cultural diversity reinforced his vision of a school that connects people across cultures through the power of language.
