Born in Brazil, Mauricio Prado has always carried a deep love for teachin, a love for English, and above all, a love for people. More than thirty years ago, the idea of opening an English school first began to take shape in his heart. What started as a dream fueled by passion has grown into a lifelong mission: to help others unlock their potential through the power of language.

Mauricio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts with a focus on Geography and International Studies, a field that broadened his mind and strengthened his appreciation for cultural diversity. His studies opened both his mind and heart to the vision of creating a school where language learning would serve as a bridge between cultures and a doorway to new opportunities.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Mauricio has dedicated his life to guiding students toward confidence, connection, and communication. In 2018, his vision became reality when Urgent English officially opened in the heart of Central Florida.

Today, Urgent English Institute stands as a reflection of Mauricio’s lifelong values, compassion, excellence, and opportunity. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership, further deepening his commitment to serving students and educators with vision, purpose, and care.

His greatest joy remains the same as it was at the beginning: seeing students grow, achieve, and find their voice in English.
